Frequently Asked Questions

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), or 4-year B.El.Ed.

No, there is no negative marking in CTET. Each question carries 1 mark.

A person scoring 60% or more (90 out of 150 marks) in the exam will be considered as CTET qualified. 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled candidates.

The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment is for a lifetime for all categories.
